Assignment: Full-time Co-op January - June 2016 We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Co-op who will be a member of the software development organization, to support requirements based development and/or testing of external software and/or non-product software. *Impact this role will have on St. Jude Medical:* •The co-op will be responsible for assisting various aspects of software development and verification which may include: •Working from requirement specifications, develop, maintain, and update detailed design and interface specifications; •Participate in and support the implementation, development, and modifications to software source code, scripts, and procedures; •Debug, troubleshoot, and isolate software problems; •Identify parameters, structure, and critical test components. •Write, update, or execute test design, cases, as well as procedures and reports results. •Assist in developing/maintaining automated test library •Support test stations in lab •Support implementation, and modifications to test cases, procedures, scripts etc; *Your experience(s), education and knowledge will further expand St. Jude Medical’s marketplace success:* •Junior, Senior or Masters level student in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering •C, C , Tcl and embedded Linux programming. * * *Your preferred qualifications and education:* •The desired skills sets include Demonstrated interest and familiarity with the Medical Device industry as applicable to area of study at college or university •Ability to research, learn and apply applicable Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Company Operating Procedures, processes, policies and rules •Strong verbal and written communication with good organizational skills _*Making a Difference at SJM *_ Each employee can make a difference at St. Jude Medical and has the power, either individually or as a team, to influence the success of the company.
